DJ Kemit & Luke Austin each have stellar RnB, Jazz and Soul credentials in their own right having worked with the likes of Arrested Development, Jill Scott, Robert Glasper and Chris “Daddy Dave to name a few, but it’s in their joint Lounge Lizards guise they get to explore their shared passion for House Music with Soul.
The “Detroit Boogie E.P.” is an homage to the hip-hop of Detroit told through the sound of Atlanta House, with Kemit & Luke supplying four tracks featuring their trademark live instrumentation, crisp production and beats with an irresistible urgency sure to tear down the party.
