Rocco Rodamaal – TBT3

Rocco Rodamaal is a new name to us here but one we hope we will be hearing more of based on the evidence of this new EP on Groovin. It takes the form of a searing new single 'TBT3', which is all raw drum slaps and coarse claps, prying bass and tribal percussion. It is backed up by some fine remixes starting with Atjazz who brings his famously musical and delightful house depths, while Dario D'Attis then gets more heavy with his percussive and loopy version. Last of all is Yoruba legend Osunlade who brings some swinging jazz and organic hand claps to a complete rebuild.
