ミュンヘンを拠点とするプロデューサー、Philip Leroiの新プロジェクト、Atlantic Brainが、Prins Thomas主宰のレーベルInternasjonalからデビューEP『Atlantic Brain EP』をリリース。これまでKris Menaceとのコラボや、Depeche Mode、LCD Soundsystemのリミックス、Deadmau5からのリミックス提供、映画音楽の作曲など、多彩なキャリアを積んできたLeroiが、新たな音楽性を追求した意欲作だ。

EPには、Alan Dixonによる2つのリミックスが収録されており、特に「Brother」のPiano Reprise Remixは、煌びやかでエモーショナルなバレアリック・ハウス/ディスコの魅力を放っている。オリジナルの「Brother」は、美しい波形を描くエレクトロ・ハウスで、ソリッドなリズムや動きのあるシンセ・ベース、ギャラクティックな音色が融合し、鮮やかなコズミック・ディスコを展開している。

このEPは、ディスコやハウス、バレアリック・サウンドを愛するリスナーにとって必携の一枚となるだろう。限定ヴァイナルとしてリリースされているため、コレクターズアイテムとしても見逃せない。

With a long and winding career working with Kris Menace, remixing the likes of Depeche Mode and LCD Soundsystem,
being remixed by Deadmau5, composing filmmusic,the Munich-based producer Philip Leroi now lands his Atlantic Brain-project
for a full EP on Internasjonal. He has previously contributed to our Internasjonal Space Station Compilation 1.
Wonderboy Alan Dixon contributes with not less than 2 remixes of "Brother", while Prins Thomas helped
tighten the mixdown slightly.
