THE POPES was formed in 1993 by Shane MacGowan, the frontman of the UK band THE POGUES, which boasted worldwide popularity in the late 1980s, as his own backing band. THE POPES, which is currently active as a band, has released a remix single of one song "Bastards", which was co-starred with Shane McGowan for the first time in 12 years from the album "Outlaw Heaven" released last year! Moreover, IDJUT BOYS and MUDD aka PAUL MARPHY are appointed as remixers! Acoustic guitar is finished in a comfortable and superb Balearic tune!
