Description

Wendell Harrison's killer jazz-funk song ``Farewell To The Welfare'', whose artist name is TRIBE, will be reissued in 7-inch format with a new jacket and latest remastering that did not exist on the original edition. ! Featuring TRIBE artists such as Harold McKinney and Lopez Leon, led by our ally Phil Ranelin, the latest reissue is a super powerful album with a jet-black groove and strong funkness worthy of the name "Wendell Harrison and the Tribe"!

“Farewell To The Welfare”, which Wendell Harrison recorded in 1975 with the members of TRIBE, has been added as a bonus track when the “An Evening With The Devil” CD was reissued. Although it was known, the original 7-inch version is a premier single that always sells for a high price! Of course, the content is also great, with Harold McKinney playing the keyboard and playing the rhythm section that supports the jet-black grooves in TRIBE-related works such as Lopez Leon (Bass) and George Davidson (Drum), and guitarists on many Detroit jazz masterpieces including the leader work left for STRATA. The powerful blows of Ron English, Wendell Harrison (Tenor Saxophone/Flute), and his ally Phil Ranelin (Trombone) exploded into a truly killer jazz funk! Along with this reissue, it is a reissue with the latest specifications, including a jacket that did not exist on the original version and remastering!
