The original 1996 black vinyl LP is currently selling for over £400, and the 2021 limited reissue in Japan is already soaring. Born in Manchester, Jamaica in 1932, Ernest was a pioneer of the ska movement in the early '60s, arranging and playing guitar on Millie Small's 1963 'My Boy Lollipop' (UK No. 2, May 1964). going.
