Brief Encounter, vocal and instrumental group from North Carolina. The 2nd album announced in 1981 following the perfect 1st is reissued on LP with the first original jacket specification! This is also a super rare original LP, a perfectly killer modern soul/boogie album!


Brief Encounter is a nine-member vocal and instrumental group led by four Bailey brothers living in North Carolina. Their second album "We Want To Play", released in 1981 on the label Music Town, will be reissued in conjunction with the release of their single collection! Two songs featuring a female singer named Julia Grant, including the beautiful melody medium "Just For Love" and the superb mellow groove "Sweet Tender Loving", the title songs "We Want To Play For You" and "Open Up Your Heart ”, the best boogie tune, and a sweet ballad that is as good as the 1st masterpiece! Although not as good as the 1st, the original version is also extremely rare. The 2005 reissue CD is now trading for over 5,000 yen, making it a long-awaited LP reissue following the re-CD.
