Smith is a pianist known for his collaborations with Roland Kirk, and he composed two songs for this album. The hard bop etiquette songs such as "People Puttin People Through Changes" and "Juluis" give a glimpse of the combo's ability, but it's no wonder that "The World Of The Children" and "The World Of The Children", which are an extension of "First Impressions", "Conversation Piece" is probably the true value.
