COASTLINES / COASTLINES 2 (2LP)

They made a spectacular debut with “Coastlines EP” released in the summer of 2018, and released “Coastlines EP2” in January 2019, and their 1st album “Coastlines” in the summer of the same year. Released by the prestigious British label Be With Records, they quickly gained attention in the chill-out Balearic scene all over the world, and will be releasing their latest full-length album "Coastlines 2" in early summer 2022! This time, we have purposely not made any single cuts in advance and have recorded 12 songs, all of which will be released for the first time!


Masanori Ikeda, who boasts a long career as a DJ and producer and still continues his own activities, and Takumi Kaneko, who is active as a keyboardist for various projects such as cro-magnon, have teamed up again to create relaxing songs such as Coastline. The group of songs, which are built as a crossover with library music-like elements reminiscent of scenes, have been further refined this time. This album consists of 10 of their 12 songs, 10 of which are their original songs, and 2 of which are cover songs. ``Tenderly'' has a beautiful magical hour sound of slow organ, guitar, marimba, and synth. The 2nd album begins with a heartfelt effort, filled with sounds and grooves that are endlessly comfortable, slowly heading towards the sunrise, even though each song has its own pace. The two covers are the mellow song "Mile High Swinger" from the library album "Synsesizer and Percussion" released under the names Alan Hawkshaw & Brian Bennett, and the sophisticated fusion track "Alicia" by Gabor Szabo. ", a cover of songs chosen with their unique aesthetic sense. Coastlines' latest album "Coastlines2", which maintains the same concept as the first album but creates a more detailed and beautifully polished magic hour, is finally released!
