Description
"VIVA HOLLYWOOD" was produced to commemorate the 20th anniversary of Sumiko Sakamoto's career as a singer, known as the Queen of Latin Songs. Barry Manilow's famous song "Copacabana" was included in the only remaining album from the TRIO period. The only analog version available is a studio live recording in Japan that reproduces the on-stage performance in Hollywood, but it is the first analog version of the studio sound source rather than a live take, the first 7-inch version, and a group for DJ use. CHINTAM (BLOW UP) from ``Wamono A to Z'' was in charge of song selection and editing for the video-like, fast-paced edit. The coupling song "Twilight Midosuji" is a Japanese soul classic that was included on the B side of "Oh La La Osaka" released in 1976! Arranged by Yuji Ohno. 8ronix is in charge of remastering.
