Yu Sakai / THANKS TO (LP)

Yu Sakai's seventh original album is like a documentary movie that describes the events that happened in 2020. This is the first attempt to release only an analog LP without releasing a physical CD. All 8 songs are newly recorded, including 5 new songs, 2 self-covers, and 1 live recording. Mastering and cutting were done by John Davis of Metropolis Studio in the UK. The previous album, ``Touch The World'', was completed in London in December 2019, just before the pandemic, after touring long-established recording studios in London, New York, Los Angeles, and São Paulo, and performing with legendary musicians from each region, but this album is as simple as possible. The main focus is a stripped-down acoustic sound. The content is designed to be enjoyed in the comfort of your own home during the cold winter months.
