Speaking of Jimi Hendrix, it is "Experience", but after the discord in the band broke up in 1969, the band that was formed for just over a year is "Band of Gypsys". The three-piece band consists of Billy Cox (bass) and Buddy Miles (ds/vo), Hendrix's army friend. It is a valuable recording where you can listen to the funky, aggressive, black Jimi Hen playing rather than the supple and skillful play that is Hendrix's characteristic. This album (PHILHARMONY EAST LIVE) is the only official release of this band, so it's one that you definitely want to keep handy! Must listen!
