1311 / CITY DIVE (2LP)

The popular work, which was released separately in two titles as "CITY DIVE EP" in 2013 and "CITY DIVE EP2 & REMIXES" in 2014, has been analogized with a new 2LP specification. Produced by streamlined Kunimondo Takiguchi, composed/arranged by DORIAN and KASHIF, this is an important work that became one of the starting points of the city pop boom in the 1990s. In this re-analog version, we have adopted a track order that is faithful to the original CD album, reviving the storytelling that the album had. "DIVE" is the album's highlight disco boogie tune, with polyrhythmic synths intertwined with 80s-like drum machines. "Koi wa Omoi no Mama" is an exhilarating dance number with a euphoric melody and bouncing rhythm. Mid-ballad "I want to be a mermaid" with sweet and painful lyrics and an urban mellow track. A total of 10 songs including famous tunes such as "Summertime ni Kuchizukete", a breezin' summer tune where colorful synth tones pour down like a shower. Art director Sho Yuge, who has been in charge of the design of all works since "CITY DIVE", is in charge of the album artwork.
