Description
When Paul officially announced his departure from the Beatles in April 1970, he faced almost insane criticism from fans around the world. In the same year, he released the album ``McCartney'', which, despite its innovative content, did not receive the critical acclaim it deserved (it remained at number one in the UK for two weeks in a row). This album ``RAM'' was created by shutting down the court case and the frenzied outside world. The album was released under the name of a unit with his wife Linda, but it was a family effort, with Linda participating on vocals and her stepdaughter Heather also participating. Paul taught Linda, who couldn't play an instrument, how to play the keyboard, and Paul played most of the songs by himself. Paul was so lonely. It would be no exaggeration to say that the presence of a family that soothes that loneliness is evident in every detail of the album, making it a gem of a work. Like its predecessor, this album did not receive the praise it deserved, but today it undoubtedly occupies an important position among Paul's works, and was the foundation for the subsequent formation of Wings. This is one album that you should definitely listen to on this occasion.
