Description
[Record day limited product! ] In 2016, Hiroshi Sato's "Awakening" was reprinted as a vinyl record from GREAT TRACKS, a label specializing in analog records, but it was reprinted again as a color vinyl. Just like last time, world-famous engineer Bernie Grundman recuts the high-spec sound source data digitally converted to 96KHz/24bit from the original master tape. While the previous reprint was pressed in the United States, this time it will be pressed at Sony Music's domestic factory and will be released on Clear Blue Vinyl (transparent blue record). This work is Hiroshi Sato's 4th original album released in 1982 after his music activities in Los Angeles, and the first to transfer to Alpha Records. Featuring Canadian female vocalist Wendy Matthews, introducing the state-of-the-art drum machine at the time: Lindrum, and combining Sato Hiroshi's high-quality sound sense with the atmosphere of the American West Coast to create a mellow soulful sound. This album can be said to be an eternal masterpiece that shines in the history of Japanese pop music that transcends generations and still influences many musicians. Tatsuro Yamashita, Tsunehide Matsuki, and Yuji Toriyama will join as guitarists as guests!
