Description
Yasuaki Shimizu, who had moved to Paris in 1988, created his second piece of stateless modern music through intimate sympathies with London avant-garde artists such as Flying Lizards' David Cunningham and Tears For Fears' Manny Elias. Shimizu, who was at the epicenter of the world music movement that was prospering at the time, has a unique sense of the times, a stateless ethnic sentiment that continues from "Scarecrow" and "Utakata no Hibi", and a collaboration with his sister Mieko Shimizu. Dazzling richly colored music with a playful relationship between words and melodies, and a heart-pounding dance beat. Remastered by Eitoru Takamiya of Flower Records and reworked by Mick Itaya who worked on the art direction of the original album, the 2019 version analog LP is revived.
