Description
The '78 debut album, which has been published in many guidebooks and is known as a classic work of domestic light mellow and Japanese GROOVE, is finally being reissued for the first time. A stimulating recording with Mackey Feary (ex. Kalapana), known as the standard bearer of Hawaiian Rare Groove, is recorded over the entire A-side. At the same time, Mackey himself picked up the night-flight title song "Million Stars", the lead number "Akogare no Sundown" with a comfortable floating electric piano, and other songs with a consistent urban mellow style. In addition, the B side is produced by Bill Payne (ex.Little Feat), and the LA recording side has beautiful bouncy vocals that respond to the rhythm work with bones. "Machiawase", which is fascinated by Nile Rodgers-style cutting guitar, was provided by Mr. Masahiro Kuwana, his older brother, and has a composition that also has Mr. Kuwana's characteristic funky side. All songs on both sides are masterpieces that should be handed down as classics of "Wamono", and the specifications of the original disc, which was a shining silver jacket, will be released after 40 years.
