A 12-inch by Jeroen Opstelten, an unspecified artist called Ben Penn, has been released by Safe Trip, a label run by Young Marco, who is based at ESP Institute and Dekmantel and has garnered attention for compiling Dekmantel's ``Selectors'' and the Italo house compilation ``Welcome To Paradise.'' ! "Spare Hobby" is an irresistible Balearic-electric funk with a unique future-retro mood, with Italo-80s-like upper parts such as vocoder chorus and DX electric piano sparkling on a sticky bass line, and a groovy bass sequence. A powerful double cider that includes two songs, ``Carrera'', which has an excellent sense of speed, with a colorful intertwining of fantastic and abstract synth phrases centered around ``Carrera''!
