Following the recent reissue of "Strings OF Life", Derrick May's masterpiece classics under the name Rhythim Is Rhythim are now available as a new mix! ``Icon,'' a beautiful string solo that touches the heart over the dynamic rhythm of 808+909, and ``Kao-Tic Harmony,'' a magnificent techno soundscape co-written with Carl Craig, from BUZZ in Belgium in 1993. Rhythim Is Rhythim's ``Icon / Kao-Tic Harmony'' was released in 1996 by Transmat, a one-and-only song that overflows with pure emotion. Both songs were carefully reconstructed by UK techno heavyweight Vince Watson at the request of Derrick May! Takumi's skill in making it for floor use while maintaining the atmosphere of the original song is sure to please long-time fans! This is a very popular piece!
