Description
"Metalik Funk Band" by The Mighty Flames, released on Foss Sound in Nigeria in 1978, has been reissued on Austrian reissue Senka PMG! Formed mainly by Cameroonian musicians such as vocalist and bassist Nfor Ngeh "Pazz" Willie and drummer Ekedi Vincent, this important band and album led the 80s Nigerian disco scene with its cosmic and spacey sound based on Afrobeat! Wiliiam Nfor Ngeh, who also participated in First Planet, whose reissue on Voodoo Funk became a hot topic, has a groovy bass line that is by far the most groovy than any other band at the time, making this album a must-listen! The original is a rare board that rarely appears on the market, so please take this opportunity!
