Murphy, also known as Mudd, has begun to discover new talent who will become the face of the label in the future, as the rush to release works by major artists such as Bella Figura and Simon Peter due to its 10th anniversary has subsided! This is the debut 12-inch release from the Essex-based trio Statues, consisting of Bradley Lucke, Mark Crooks, and Grant Carruthers.This original work features a slow-tempo band sound centered around piano riffs and synth solos. Includes ``Alaula'' and Paul Murphy's remix of ``Alaula (Mudd's Piano Dub)'', which has an exquisite Balearic dub style with added percussion!
